Our Mission

IntentMesh AI exists to provide independent, factual, and timely coverage of the AI industry. We serve researchers, engineers, founders, investors, policy makers, and working developers with reporting that is useful, accurate, and free from commercial influence.

Independence

IntentMesh AI operates independently and is not owned by, affiliated with, or funded by any AI company, lab, cloud provider, or industry trade association. Our editorial decisions are made solely based on newsworthiness and relevance to our readership. We do not accept payment for favorable coverage or allow advertisers to influence our reporting.

Sourcing Standards

Every article published on IntentMesh AI includes a sources section listing the materials used in reporting. We rely on the following categories of sources:

• Official company communications: Research blog posts, model cards, technical reports, press releases, investor disclosures, and corporate announcements issued directly by the companies covered
• Academic and research sources: Papers on arXiv, benchmark reports, and peer reviewed publications where applicable
• Regulatory and policy documents: Agency filings, Federal Register notices, and public comments related to AI policy and governance
• Industry reporting: Established technology and business publications that report on the AI industry, with clear attribution
• Market data: Published analyses from recognized market research firms, cited with attribution

When we aggregate information from multiple sources, we attribute each factual claim to its origin. When we provide analysis or commentary, we clearly distinguish it from factual reporting.

Accuracy and Verification

We verify key facts, figures, and claims against primary sources before publication. Benchmark numbers, funding figures, and statistical claims are cross referenced against at least two independent sources when possible. When a single source claim is included, the source is clearly identified so readers can assess its reliability independently.

Corrections Policy

We correct errors promptly and transparently. If a factual error is identified in a published article:

• The article is updated with the correct information
• A correction note is added to the article indicating what was changed and when
• If the error was material enough to change the meaning or conclusions of the article, a correction notice is included in the next newsletter edition

To report an error, contact founder@intentmesh.dev with the article URL and the specific information you believe is inaccurate, along with any supporting documentation.

Coverage Principles

• Fairness. We cover all major industry participants, including frontier labs, open source maintainers, infrastructure providers, and independent researchers, with the same standards of fairness and scrutiny
• Relevance. We prioritize stories that have direct, practical implications for people who build, operate, regulate, or fund AI systems
• Proportionality. Market projections, benchmark claims, and capability assertions are reported in context, including caveats about methodology and uncertainty where appropriate
• No proprietary data. We do not publish proprietary model weights, leaked training data, confidential internal documents, or trade secrets

AI Assisted Production

IntentMesh AI uses AI tools in its editorial workflow, including research aggregation, draft composition, and data synthesis. All content is reviewed and verified by human editors before publication. AI assisted production does not diminish our commitment to accuracy, attribution, and editorial standards. The use of AI allows a small editorial operation to provide daily industry coverage that would otherwise require a significantly larger staff.

Conflicts of Interest

IntentMesh AI is published by Intent Mesh, an independent technology studio building tools and intelligence for the AI industry. We have no investor relationships with any AI company we cover. We do not provide favorable or unfavorable coverage to any company based on business relationships or product competition with Intent Mesh. Any material commercial relationship that could reasonably be perceived as a conflict is disclosed on the relevant article.
